Table 1.

The effects of plant group (grass, forb or legume), family, species and phylogenetic distance to Chrysanthemum on Simpson (alpha) diversity and community structure (beta diversity) of bacteria and fungi; and the relationship between diversity and community structure of bacteria and fungi and Chrysanthemum biomass of plants in the control treatment without pathogen and plants exposed to Pythium ultimum, and their ratio.

Alpha‐diversity was measured with the Simpson index and treatments effects evaluated using linear models. Effects on community structure were evaluated using PERMANOVA.
