(B) Immunofluorescent images showing endocytosis of conjugated TAMRA-P188 complexes in control cells. Diffusion of the complex into the nuclei was not evident. (C) Immunofluorescent images showing endocytosis of conjugated TAMRA-P188 complexes in cells exposed to microcavitation. It is evident that the complexes diffused into the nuclei in some cells (e.g., purple color), suggesting potential reorganization of the nuclear envelope caused by microcavitation.
