(A) Mice were injected through peritoneal with LPS or PBS for 5 weeks, and then hippocampal slices were prepared. The blood vessels, the integrity of BBB and the nuclei were detected by co-immunofluorescence staining using lectin (green), IgG (red), and Hoechst (blue), respectively; scale bar, 50 μm. (B) Quantification of lectin positive signal showed a significantly increased leak of IgG from blood vessels in LPS and P301L-hTau-LPS groups. Data were present as mean ± SD (n = 3 each group, one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey post hoc test). *, P < 0.1; ***, P < 0.001.
