Cell cytotoxicity of Rg3(S) in HDFs. No cytotoxicity was observed in (A) young and (B) old HDFs treated with up to 80 μM of Rg3(S). Partial cytotoxicity was observed at 160 μM of Rg3(S). HDFs were pretreated with Rg3(S) at the given concentration for 24 h at 37°C. Rg3(S) was diluted in DMSO (0.1%, v/v), and DMSO alone was used as a control. Cell viability was measured following the CCK-8 protocol.
