Participants | Elegibility criteria: primary or secondary infertility, aged 18 to 37 years old, having good ovarian reserve (AMH > 1.5, AFC > 5, and basal FSH < 10 mIu/L), and at least one previously failed ICSI Male partner with severe oligospermia (sperm concentration < 5 x 106/mL) and severe teratospermia (normal form < 4%) |
Interventions | Couples were randomised in two groups: Intervention: sperm selection performed at 10,000x magnification with a Nomarski‐contrast Nikson inverted microscope Control: sperm selection under regular (200x) magnification |
Outcomes | Number of embryos, fertilisation rate, embryo grading, implantation rate, and pregnancy rate. |
