Hyperphosphorylated tau levels are increased in AD HiN. Fixed HiN cultures were assayed for phosphorylated tau by immunocytochemistry against hyperphosphorylated tau (Ser202, Thr 205). Representative cultures of AD HiNs display robust staining (A,B,C), while HiNs from non-AD patients show minimal labeling (D) as measured by widefield fluorescence microscopy using a 20× air objective.
