Inhibitory effect of β-caryophyllene on the CagA translocation through T4SS. (A) H. pylori was treated with indicated concentrations of β-caryophyllene and the RNA was extracted. The collected RNA was subjected to reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to detect the expression of T4SS components. The galE was used as an internal control.
