Knockdown of MARCKSL1 suppresses epithelial-mesenchymal transition-associated proteins and AKT activation. Expression of E-cadherin, N-cadherin, vimentin, SNAI2, p-AKT and AKT was evaluated by western blotting. GAPDH served as loading control. Multiple bands were observed for E-cadherin and N-cadherin due to post-translational modifications as previously described (67,68).
