Figure 1.

Muscone inhibits tumor cell viability. (A) Cell viability and IC50 of HepG2 cells treated with 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 or 2.5 µMol/l muscone or DMSO for 24 h were determined using CCK-8 assays. (B) Cell viability of HepG2 cells was determined using CCK-8 assays following treatment with 0.663 µM muscone or the corresponding volume of DMSO for 24 or 48 h. (C) Cell viability and IC50 of Hep3B cells treated with 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 or 2.5 µMol/l muscone or DMSO for 24 h was determined using CCK-8 assays. (D) Cell viability of Hep3B cells was determined using CCK-8 assays following treatment with 0.663 µM muscone or the corresponding volume of DMSO for 24 or 48 h. (E and F) Cell viability of (E) A549 and (F) HCT116 cells treated with 1 µM muscone or DMSO for 24 h was assessed using a CCK-8 assay. Control represents cells that did not receive treatment. *P<0.05, **P<0.01 vs. Control group; #P<0.05 vs. muscone group; n=3; NS, not significant; IC50, half maximal inhibitory concentration; CCK-8, Cell Counting Kit-8.
