IAA8 down-regulates ABA responsive genes transcription. Transcript abundance of ABI3 (A), ABI4 (B), ABI5 (C), Em1 (D), Em6 (E), and RAV1 (F) in germinating seeds of Col-0, iaa8-1 mutant, and iaa8-1/IAA8 OX (#6-3) plants. Seeds of the selected genotypes were germinated on ½ MS medium. Total RNA was extracted and RT-qPCR analysis was performed using gene-specific primers; Tubulin2 was used as an internal control. Error bars represent SE in three biological replicates. Significant difference was determined by Student’s t-test (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 and ***P < 0.001).
