BMDM and pMACs were polarized as described in Methods and expression of the indicated genes quantified by qPCR and reported as fold change (Figure 7). After logarithmic transformation, those data were fit with a linear model and statistical significance determined by ANOVA (α = 0.05) based on cell type alone (irrespective of polarization), polarization only (irrespective of cell type), or a differential response dependent on both cell type and polarization conditions (interaction effect). p-values are presented.
