a A comparison of the binding profiles of 3 monoclonal VLRBs on the CFG and NCFG sialyl derivative array to SNA. All of the glycans bound by SNA and the VLRBs terminate with a 2–6-linked sialic acid and the RFU values were normalized to a scale of 0–100. b Commercial human tissue arrays were probed with VLRBs and clear differences were observed in staining patterns for colon, thyroid, lung, and prostate demonstrating that these antibodies can be used to differentiate between subsets of sialylated glycans in immunohistochemistry applications.
