Maps of the rCBF, rABV, and rATT of a 57-year-old male subject with AD. Note that the rCBF is diffusely decreased in comparison with that in a healthy subject (Fig 1). Hypoperfusion is evident, especially in the bilateral precunei (arrows) and frontal lobes. rABV also appears to be reduced in the corresponding regions. Despite the decreased rCBF, no prolongation of ATT is observed in these regions, whereas normal prolongation of ATT is observed in the borderzones.
