Modules identified in Supplemental Fig. S4 were then correlated with epithelial proliferation (Fig. 1). The same figure arrangement holds as listed in Fig. 6. As shown, two modules, Plum1 and Dark Green (demarcated with boxes), showed a significant inverse correlation with proliferation. A legend that ranges from blue to red shades (−1 to 1, respectively) is included to the right of the figure. These colors coincide with degree of correlation with darker blue representing strong negative correlation between an individual ME and proliferation and those ME more intensely red indicating a positive correlation. As shown, ME Plum 1 and Dark Green boxes are colored a dark blue, indicating a significant inverse correlation with proliferation.
