Effect of antagonists of P2Y1 and SK channel. Carbenoxolone (cbx) was pumped into the bath at 2 μM/min. A: the pinstripe pattern 19 min after the start of pumping. Pumping was stopped after 32 min (at 64 μM carbenoxolone), and 0.8 μM MRS2500 (P2Y1 antagonist) was added. After a further 11 min, 4 μM UCL1684 (SK channel antagonist) was added. B: the same small intestine as in A, 31 min after the addition of MRS2500 and 20 min after the addition of UCL1684. Female CD-1, perfused lumen, 2 μM/min carbenoxolone.
