lternative GPCR via Gαs coupling cascade leading to the increased activity of NR2B subunit of NMDAR. GPCR activation via PAC1 receptor promotes adenylyl cyclase to be activated and converts ATP to cyclic AMP. This mechanism leads to the activation of PKA that allows the disintegration of Fyn kinase from RACK1. The free form of Fyn kinase acts on NR2B subunit to enhance its tyrosine phosphorylation and receptor activity
