Upregulation of VEGF-A, VEGF-C and VEGF-D after FND monotherapy. Corneas treated with FND were harvested seven days after the treatment and mRNA expression was analysed via qPCR. FND monotherapy induces significant increase of VEGF-A, VEGF-C and VEGF-D expression. (n = 9 in pools of 3, *** = 0.0001 < p ≤ 0.001, ** = 0.001 < p ≤ 0.01).
