Reproducibility of ozone-induced airway inflammation in four experiments. Experiments 1–4 were conducted over the span of several months to test the reproducibility of our exposure system by a biological measure. On average, the percent neutrophils was 18.1 ± 0.8% (solid and dashed lines, mean ± SEM). For each experiment there was a significant increase in percent neutrophils (p < 0.05) and the percent neutrophil value was not significantly different across experiments (ANOVA F statistic = 0.132, p = 0.941).
