Characterization of EVs: (A) Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis analysis of extracellular vesicles from serum of healthy donors: Concentration 1.02×10¹¹ ± 1.38×10¹⁰ and mode 127 nm ± 16 nm in size. (B) Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) image of isolated EVs from patients after purification via size exclusion chromatography (SEC), in order to reduce protein contamination in the staining. (C) Western blot image from cell control and serum EVs lysates, showing higher levels of calnexin, lower of Alix and lower of CD63 in cell compared to EV lysates. In addition, similar levels of Hsp70 could be observed between the 3 samples.
