The atomic model used was PDB entry 5n27 (Ferraro et al., 2017 ▸). From the second iteration onward, the curves lie close to their final positions. Note that the resolution of the undistorted reconstruction cannot be reached by the distorted reconstructions, since particles have been lost along the way and the image pixels have been degraded by resampling.
