Downregulation of E-cadherin inhibits entry of HBV pseudoparticles. HepG2-NTCP and HepaRG cells were infected with luciferase-encoding pseudotyped virus particles bearing HBV large envelope glycoprotein LHBs 3 days post-transfection with siRNA. Luciferase assays were performed 72 h after infection. The value of si-NC group was normalized to 100 and the values of other groups were compared to the controls.
