PKC substrates are differentially phosphorylated during C. trachomatis infection. Chlamydia trachomatis L2-infected HeLa cell lysates with and without chloramphenicol treatment were collected at 4, 12, 24, 36 and 48 hours post-infection and probed for serine-phosphorylated PKC substrates. Mock infected HeLa lysates, C, serve as a control and total protein reference. GAPDH was used as a loading control and Hsp60 was used to detect Chlamydia.
