Application user functions and utility preferences. Respondents who use reproductive health applications were instructed to select all that apply from a list of common utilities and functions available in reproductive health smartphones, with a free text option to add other options. Additional functions that respondents commonly identified in ‘other’ included reminders to take birth control [15], and monitoring cycle-related symptoms [9]. Data is presented as a count of the respondents that selected the corresponding option (n = 290)
