ORF5 protein promotes replication of PCV2. (A) PK-15 cells were transfected with EGFP-ORF5 for 12 h and then infected with PCV2 for 36 h. PCV2 DNA copies were quantified by quantitative PCR. (B) PK-15 cells were pretreated with TG or 4-PBA for 2 h and then transfected with EGFP-ORF5 or infected with PCV2 for 36 h. DNA copies were quantified by quantitative PCR. (C) PK-15 cells were pretreated with 4-PBA for 2 h and then transfected with EGFP-ORF5 for 12 h and then infected with PCV2.
