Recognition of 72 randomly chosen and uniformly distributed fungal peptides by the InsB4 T-cell clone. Each panel shows results of MIP-1β assay, indicating activation of T-cell clone InsB4 by 12 peptides and the index HLVEALYLV peptide (shown as a bold red line). InsB4 was incubated overnight with the indicated peptides and MIP-1β released into the supernatants quantified by ELISA. Bins 1–5 were performed in the same assay with Bin 6 performed in a separate experiment hence the different EC50 values for the index peptide. EC50 for each peptide (M) is displayed in the tables. NR, no T-cell response. The mean pEC50 for each bin is plotted in Figure 7A.
