Women who have given birth within the past 6 months

Women who are residents in the village

Women who are able and willing to participate

Women who have given birth at home with help from a traditional birth attendant (TBA), mother, neighbour or other person

Women who have given birth in a health facility

These women’s mothers-in-law

Community midwives working in the village and/or the Basic Health Centre

Traditional birth attendants/local women attending those in labour and deliveries
