Effects of four D/R cycles on the molecular mass profile of polysaccharides present in CW fractions of TR9 and Csol microalgae. Sepharose 4B chromatography of polysaccharides from each CW fraction was performed at least three times with at least two different CW preparations from independent TR9 and Csol cultures, under both control and D/R conditions. The chromatographic profile of each polysaccharide fraction did not differ by more than 5 % (in molecular mass) among replicates and with respect to those depicted in the figure. T0 corresponds to cell wall fractions before submitting to D/R cycles. The asterisks indicate fractions selected for glycosyl composition and glycosyl linkage analyses.
