The individual layers of the skin (A) are sequentially transferred to the hand model (B): skin pores, cutis, subcutaneous tissue, soft tissue, periosteum and bone. In the model, the subcutaneous tissue consists of subcutaneous fat and a rubber-like subcutaneous boundary. (C) shows the cross-section of the entire hand model.
