Schematic representations and corresponding data for the addition of undiluted human serum to a protein A/MPO surface (A), POPC over protein A/MPO (B), and EPC+ over protein A/MPO (C). Lipid vesicles (B and C) were injected (1) and incubated for 1 h, before the addition of undiluted human serum (2) for 30 min, followed by a PBS rinse (3) to remove any unbound components.
