The effect of the Met treatment on porcine iliac artery endothelial cells (PIEC) H₂S production. The PIEC cells were seeded in a 12-well cell plate. After 80% confluence, the PIEC cells were placed in a serum-free medium for 18 h, followed by a Met-free RPMI 1640 medium for another 6 h, then treated with Met for 24 h. The supernatant culture medium was collected for H₂S assay, n = 4/group.
