Muscle Pyruvate kinase isoenzyme M2 (PKM2) and Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Kinase 4 (PDK4) expression and glycogen content. PKM2 and PDK4 expression was assayed by Western blot in gastrocnemius muscle at weaning (W) and adolescence (A). Glycogen content was measured as described in the Methods Section. Values are means ± SEM (n = 8 for each experimental group).
