Table 3.

Summary of CTC-positive mBC patient samples and their corresponding CTC counts analyzed by either manual or XCyto® 10 -based semi-automated screening. Cases in which one approach yielded higher CTC counts are marked in bold. The evaluation contains CTC-positive samples from prior analysis (Table S3) as well as 6 additional CTC-positive mBC samples (Table S3, Sheet 2). In the cases of “re-evaluated” samples (1) indicates samples processed via the 6.5 μm cassette gap and (2) samples that were separated via the 10 μm gap size. The 6 additional blood samples were solely processed using the narrow 6.5 μm cassette gap. All samples were drawn in EDTA.
