Castration-induced FUT8 expression is associated with EGFR. LNCaP cells that were inoculated as xenografts in nude mice were either castrated or mock operated after the tumor volume reached around 1 cm³. Five weeks after the castration all the mice were sacrificed and tumors were removed for Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining using FUT8, EGFR, and with Lens culinaris (LCA) lectin staining. For each antibody two different tumors were stained. Images were taken using 40x magnification and quantified using ImageJ software (A,B).
