The mean periods until the recurrence of seizure were significantly different between (a) cases with 1p/19q co-deletion and cases without the co-deletion (P = 0.016), and (b) cases with p53 upregulation and cases with normal p53 levels (P = 0.001). There was no significant difference in the mean periods controlled by a single anticonvulsant between (c) cases with tumors positive for ATRX staining and cases with tumors negative for ATRX (P = 0.181).
