PC inhibitor balanced glycolysis by regulating Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD), and glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta (GSK3β). (A) GSK3β, an inhibitor of glycogen synthase, increased in the PAH model, was decreased with PC inhibitor treatment. (B) G6PD expression was significantly increased in SU5 and PC inhibitor treatment. Increased G6PD expression with PC inhibitor decreased glycolysis by increasing the pentose phosphate pathway.
