Table 2.

Antioxidant activity of purified phycobiliproteins and methanol extracts from the Atacama native cyanobacterial strains CAQ-15, LLC-10 and LLA-10. The antioxidant capabilities were evaluated by the ABTS and FRAP assays and expressed as TEAC (Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity). TE: Trolox equivalents; PE: Phycoerythrin; and PC: Phycocyanin. The assays were conducted in triplicate, and the results are shown as the mean values with the corresponding standard deviation.
