EMT and PI3K/AKT signaling pathway may be regulated by the miR-320/ELF3 axis in BC cells. (A) E-cadherin expression was upregulated, and N-cadherin and vimentin expression were downregulated in MCF-7 and SK-BR-3 cells after transfection with miR-320 mimic. ELF3 partially reversed the effect on EMT-associated marker expression. (B) Phosphorylation of PI3K and AKT was downregulated in MCF-7 and SK-BR-3 cells after transfection with miR-320 mimic, and ELF3 expression partially reversed the effect on the PI3K/AKT pathway.
