Top row shows the axon diameter map and the diameter estimation histogram for the 80 × 16 × 32 nominal resolution; middle row shows the same maps for the 40 × 8 × 16 nominal resolution, and the bottom row shows the same maps for the 20 × 4 × 8 nominal resolution. The dotted line indicates the histograms' mean diameter within the regions, to be compared with the effective apparent diameter (2*r_eff) of 3.48 um.
