PRx over the first 5 h in patients who went on to develop severe refractory intracranial hypertension (n = 24) compared to severe TBI patients matched for age, sex and initial GCS (n = 24). Those who developed severe refractory intracranial hypertension tended to have higher PRx in the first 5 h of monitoring (p = 0.048) while ICP was not significantly different between the two groups (p = 0.197).
