Displayed parameters should include non- invasive blood pressure (NIBP), oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate (HR) respiratory rate (RR) and electrocardiogram waveform (ECG). In Level II and Level III all monitors Should have provision for invasive monitoring 20% Monitors should have Cardiac output modules in Level II and III Temperature monitoring, ETCO2 is desirable. High accuracy, simple light weight, large high resolution color LCD screen should be preferred.

Drip Hangers in the middle of the bed are usually least used. Dedicated stands (heavy duty) should be supported from Corner ends of bed to hold and bear the weight of multiple syringe pumps
