TGEV infection induces the expression of IFN-γ and poIRF1 in vivo. (a, c) Piglets were inoculated with 5 mL of a suspension containing 1 × 105 of TCID50 TGEV or DMEM. Total cellular RNA was extracted from the small intestine, and the levels of IFN-α, IFN-γ, IFN-λ and poIRF1 were measured by RT-qPCR. (b) Total cellular RNA was extracted from small intestine cells, and the mRNA levels of IFNAR, IFNLR, and IFNGR were measured by RT-qPCR. (d, e) PBMC were induced to express IFN-γ and poIRF1 by TGEV.
