Fluorescence intensities of intracellular Laserphyrin® obtained from PC-3 cells. PC-3 cells were incubated in D-MEM, HVJ-E suspension, Laserphyrin® solution, or L-HVJ-E suspension with various Laserphyrin® concentrations for various incubation periods. Intracellular Laserphyrin® uptake increased with increasing Laserphyrin® concentration and incubation period for both Laserphyrin® solution and L-HVJ-E suspension. Fluorescence intensities were significantly higher in cells incubated in L-HVJ-E suspension than in cells incubated in Laserphyrin® solutions prepared at the same Laserphyrin® concentration (n = 6; *P < 0.01).
