Gene expression in mice following tail vein injection of Ad virus containing luciferase cDNA (AdCMVLuc) or DOTAP:cholesterol liposomes followed by AdCMVLuc (sequential protocol). DOTAP:cholesterol liposomes (1:1; m/m) were prepared by the extrusion method with a final size of 150 nm and the amount of AdCMVLuc injected was 4 × 10¹⁰ particles/mouse. Gene expression was assayed 72 h following the injection. (n = 6).
