Premixing of AdCMVLuc with DOTAP:cholesterol liposomes resulted in a decrease in gene expression in a dose-dependent manner. AdCMVLuc was mixed with varying amounts of DOTAP:cholesterol liposomes and incubated at room temperature for 10 min before injection.
