Intra-articular stage and initial tibial fixation. (A) Passage of Achilles graft (I). Through manual traction (II), the reconstruction is passed through the tibial (III) and femoral (IV) tunnels, leaving the excess uncut (because it will be used to reinforce the collateral ligament). (B) Intraoperative clinical image showing onset of passage of Achilles allograft (I) and sutures prepared for subsequent passage under iliotibial band (II). It is important to leave the nitinol guidewire of the femoral fixation screw (III) in place during the process to facilitate the subsequent fixation procedure.
