Luteolin decreased the LPS-induced Akt and IKKα/β phosphorylation. MH-S cells were pretreated with luteolin (25 μM) or LY294002 (10 μM) for 30 min, and then stimulated with LPS (100 ng/ml) for 10 min. Fifty micrograms of each protein was separated by SDS-PAGE, and then Western blot analysis with specific antibodies against phospho-Akt (Thr308), phospho-Akt (Ser473) and phosphor-IKKα/β (Ser176/180) was performed. β-actin was used as a control.
