Reversal of Glycyrrhizic acid mediated growth inhibition by exogenous supplementation of ergosterol. L. donovani promastigotes were treated with IC₅₀ concentration of GA (34 μM) in the absence and presence of ergosterol for 48 h. Reversal was analyzed by performing MTT assay and change in OD measured at 540 nm using 96 well plate reader.
