Blood samples of both sexes of mice from Fig. 1 were analyzed after 24-week treatment. The data are expressed as mean ± SEM of hematological values. Statistical comparisons of control mice (0% BP) and BP-fed mice were performed by one-way ANOVA plus the Tukey multiple range test and no statistical difference between treatment and control groups was observed.
