Figure 3. — Effects of dietary supplementation with plasma concentrate (spray-dried plasma, SDP) and plasma protein fraction (PPF) on water content in feces (expressed as percentage of wet weight) in a rat model of mild intestinal inflammation. Inflammation was induced by intraperitoneal administration of 50 μ g of Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin B (SEB) on d 30 and 33 of age. Animals were fed experimental diets for 14 d.
