The alignment includes sequences from the group 2 coronaviruses CRCoV, BCoV (bovine coronavirus), OC43 (human coronavirus OC43), PHEV (porcine hemagglutinating encephalomyelitis virus), group 1 coronavirus CCoV (canine coronavirus) and group 3 coronavirus IBV (infectious bronchitis virus). The numbers in the brackets show the starting position of the primer-binding site within each sequence. The numbers along the top show the nucleotide positions within the alignment. Shaded areas indicate the location of the non-conserved nucleotides in CCoV and IBV.
